This year, the Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability Medal has been awarded to two remarkable leaders: Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, 66th president of Mexico, former Mayor of Mexico City, and Mr. Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary-General of the United Nations. Both have demonstrated exceptional dedication to advancing sustainability through policies, community involvement, and global collaboration.
The awardees will be presented at the 4th Summit of the Nobel Sustainability Trust from November 20 to 21, 2024, in San Francisco. Eligible for the award are individuals from science and industry, as well as organizations and companies that promote the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals.
